Cherished Moments

Always there through laughter and tears,

With unconditional love over so many years.

Beauty you’d find in all with a smile on your face,

Winning affection, leaving the world a better place.

Though now you travel alone, you’re not far away,

I cannot see nor touch you, but I call you every day.

Your warmth I feel; it’s around me and near,

The whisper of your voice in the wind I hear.

Memories will remain though you are gone,

Ever in my heart as life goes on.

In my thoughts are the cherished moments you made,

For as long as we are apart, they will never fade.
