During the late 1800s, William Ernest Pinder worked for a joinery and undertaking business at 50, High Street, Bawtry. The name above the door at that time was John Howard.
In 1914 William E. Pinder purchased the business for himself, and the name was changed to W.E. Pinder & Son, the son being John Robert Pinder.
The Pinder name has been built on family values of care, courtesy and respect for tradition. Today, W.E. Pinder & Son still strive to maintain these same high standards.
