With Wings We’ll Fly

Memories of you are locked inside my mind,

And to say goodbye just fills me with sorrow.

But, in my head, I hear your voice resounding,

Comforting me through each tomorrow.

Each moment we shared replays in my dreams,

And I picture you standing next to me still.

The images I have remain vivid and clear,

For you live on in my heart; my thoughts you fill.

Eternally I’ll miss the days with you by my side,

And the times you used to laugh and cry.

But I know we’ll meet again someday,

And wrapped in each other’s wings we’ll fly.
